I have been spending a fair amount of time lately getting everything I need to set up for this summer and the second year of the Positive Graffiti Project. So far, it looks like it's going to be amazing! I am looking for any local businesses that would like to donate their parking lot over a weekend when they may be closed for us to use as our canvas. If you have any ideas for businesses, please let me know! Other than that, life is good. Fundraising events are coming up here and there, and awareness-raising isn't going too bad either :)

For me, 2012 marks the beginning of a new era in my fundraising. This is the year, now that the foundation is ten years old, that I take over much of the administrative duties from my mom (who is just too busy for all that) and start really pushing forward with the planning of new and exciting events, outreach, and hopefully speech-giving. I want my fondation to really be on the map as of the end of this year, so we shall see how far I get with that!

Well, this coming Monday, we will be at St.Thomas Aquinas high school in Oakville for the *Positive Graffiti Project*! Come on out and join us as we spread a little positivity. We are harnessing the creativity of the students and using it to create a mural full of positive thinking in the parking lot, so stay tuned to hear how it went!

The date for the AVM Foundation's "Walk Cuz You Can" had to be moved to Saturday May 21st, due to scheduling conflicts with the City of Hamilton. Fingers crossed that everything works out!
